# Shopify quickstart

> Install Trylora, connect it to your published theme, and complete a test try-on.

Use the Shopify Theme Installation for Shopify Online Store themes. Trylora provides a theme app block for the product-page button and an app embed for the storefront-wide runtime.

## Prerequisites

You need:

* A Shopify admin account that can install apps, approve subscriptions, and edit themes
* An Online Store theme with at least one product template
* A product with an image suitable for virtual try-on
* The Trylora installation link supplied to your store

<Warning>
  Remove any manually added Trylora `embed.js` script before installing the Shopify theme extension. A Shopify storefront should use only one installation path.

## Install Trylora

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install and open the app">
    Open the Trylora installation link, review the requested access, and complete the Shopify installation. Open **Trylora** from **Apps** in Shopify admin.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve a plan">
    Select **See plans and get started**, choose a plan, and approve it in Shopify checkout. Return to Trylora after Shopify confirms the subscription.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install the Try On Button">
    In **Finish storefront setup**, select **Install Try On Button**. Shopify Theme Editor opens a product template. Add the **Try On Button** app block where shoppers should enter the try-on flow, then select **Save**.

  <Step title="Activate Trylora Embed">
    Return to Trylora and select **Activate Trylora Embed**. In Theme Editor, enable **Trylora Embed** under **App embeds**, choose its basic appearance settings, and select **Save**.

  <Step title="Complete setup">
    Return to the Trylora app and select **Refresh status**. Both **Try On Button** and **Trylora Embed** must show `active`. Select **Finish setup**.

  <Step title="Enable the storefront experience">
    Turn on the storefront toggle in the Trylora app. Open a product page in the published theme and complete a new try-on.

<Note>
  Theme placement remains installed when you turn the storefront experience off. The storefront toggle controls whether shoppers see the button and runtime.
